About

People tend to be awed by "extraordinary" people.

We encounter them in the course of our lives and are astounded by how capable and talented they are; by how much they accomplished.  Sadly, in many cases, this sense of wonder serves to make us feel worse.  We question whether we can ever accomplish all that this person has, we doubt our own ability.

If we can look at this phenomenon of being "extraordinary" we can see that it is much more than a single moment in time.  If we look at it clearly, we'll see that extraordinary isn't so unattainable because every person's "extraordinary" is literally "extra ordinary;" it's nothing more than an ordinary decision made on an ordinary day, over and over again.  Whether it be an ordinary decision to practice 30 minutes every day, run for 30 minutes 3 times a week, read 10 minutes a day, we come to understand that extraordinary is actually quite ordinary.

This blog is my attempt to learn how much ordinary is takes to be extraordinary.
