So far I've been in Costa Rica for 5 days. When I was in San Jose, I didn't do too much. I more or less stayed in the hotel and chatted up the locals I met there. I did walk to the mall, but that was just like a US mall. Unfortunate.
Puntarenas was much more interesting. I met a couple of people at my new bar spot. Oasis del Pacifico!
Great time. The bartender, Caesar, turned on the dance floor lights for us and Carlos, the drunk of the night, was handing out flowers to the girls and dancing the night away. So far so good!
Yesterday marked the official start of the Maymester 2012 Semester at Sea Voyage!
After months of planning and preparation. Lots of cash spent on travel, hotel, supplies and materials. Days of training. It’s here.
